I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.”

-Louisa May Alcott

Hi, I’m Laura.

…a therapist, a creative, a deep listener, and someone who believes that growth begins with compassion, non-judgement, and the courage to explore the real (sometimes messy) truth of your experience.

As a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #157755) under the supervision of Jennifer Campoy (LCSW#: 23900), I offer both in-office sessions in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles and virtual therapy to clients across California.

I often work with people in their 20s & 30s who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed due to anxiety, depression, grief, or patterns formed by trauma (ex. dissociation or people pleasing). Some feel like they’re “too much” or “not enough”, and struggle to feel at home in the world or in themselves. Some are redefining their professional or creative identities.

Many of my clients are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, creative, LGBTQIA+, or struggling with the effects of childhood trauma, religious trauma, or PTSD. Others just come with a quiet longing: to slow down, feel deeply seen and heard, and reconnect with themselves.

I’m also passionate about working with couples to understand attachment wounds, uncover patterns formed by the effects complex family dynamics, and rebuild authentic trust and connection. My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and deeply informed by the effects of trauma on relationships.

If you’re ready to start this journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Feel free to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation, to see if we might be a good fit.
